Mimi recommends...Them Terribles

Having been compared with The Hives, The Strokes, Richard Hell, The Animals and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Them Terribles have modernized and intensified the rock revolution of your mom's rebellious teenage days. Frontman Matt Green's vocals are as unique as the way he first got into music: he was adopted from New Jersey to Los Angeles into a house right next door to a member of The Eagles, who gave him a drum kit. Later on Matt ditched drums and turned to guitar and piano after moving in to Santa Barbara, where he met his future band members guitarist Jonny Black and drummer Joey Benenati. After changing their lineup and name a couple of time, they reached their current form as Them Terribles (the name was a spoof of "The Tearaways", which is the name of the drummer, Joey Benenati's, father's band) in 2008.
